Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Develop sales and revenue growth, backed by Commercial Director / CEO
  • Maintain excellent relationship with new and existing customers
  • Build partnerships, manage and engage in business development activities
  • Travel overseas for exhibitions, events and other business meetings etc
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Marketing, Business, or related disciplines
  • >3 years or above relevant working experience in business development, sales, marketing or related areas is preferred. Experience with ESG-related companies or products is ideal
  • Excellent business acumen, with strong analytical skills
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Cantonese

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a driven and technically savvy executive to join our team as the Director in charge of Strategy and Sustainability. Fluent proficiency in multiple languages, particularly French and English, is key to this role. As the Director, you will be responsible for defining and implementing strategies to enter new markets and driving sales of our innovative solutions, with a primary focus on the healthcare industry in Europe and North America. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, backed by 15+ years of experience in managing and growing organizations. Moreover, in the absence of the CEO, you will be required to oversee the company, making fluency in multiple languages a valuable asset.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies and business plans for new products/services to be sold on a global scale.
  • Lead market entry strategies for expansion into new regions/segments and generate sales.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop internal sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote corporate social responsibility.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of our solutions in our clients’ ESG to emphasize the sustainability benefits we bring and to attract new clients.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators related to sustainability and business strategy.
  • Develop strategic initiatives and/or be visible with global organizations focusing on health, environment, and climate change.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master in finance, business or related (MBA strongly appreciated).
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of sustainability (ESG), materials and their manufacturing processes.
  • >15 years experience in sales or business development, preferably in healthcare or related industry.
  • Experience in managing direct sales and distribution networks.
  • Experience with IGO, NGOs, civil society, especially the ones in relation to the company business.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent business acumen, with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English and European languages (French is a must).
